Our Story

In 2019, founder Denis Murphy shared his vision to create the ultimate “market intelligence platform for brand owners and retailers” with CTO Matt Dale and COO Ross Watson. Shortly afterwards they embarked on a mission, initially starting in the UK, to create the world's leading retail intelligence platform.

Today Brand Nudge is a home for curious thinkers and data driven doers who enjoy supporting clients to achieve more insight everyday.

Brand Nudge already partners with and powers the growth insights of hundreds of performance-driven brands across 50 countries, helping them achieve more through data driven insight.

In his role as Sales Director for Mars Foods, Denis experienced first hand the lack of accurate, reliable and complete market data available to industry leaders to inform decision making.

Teams struggled to articulate changes in performance from poor quality data sets and hundreds of hours were wasted across all levels of the organisation trying to piece a narrative together.
